Surprised no mentions so far. I've been busy last few days so seen nowt yet.
Apart from pisstaking with Sweaty mates.
Currently in a very local Portuguese bar, surrounded by Russians watching Egypt lead Belgium.
Big surprise earlier by Spain being shit. They're my spare team
Gonna be in this bar to watch the England game
Is it coming home?

We're watching but not getting particularly excited about any of it. Watched Spain earlier and what pisses me off is when the commentators keep going on about their star players and how great they are. Fcuk me, they couldn't beat Cape Verde.

I'm watching fixtures closely to see when the big matches are on,then I can enjoy the resulting quiet roads.

The best ride I had on quiet roads was during Princess Di's funeral.
All the thugball matches are at night, so even if your team get to the final you'll have to enjoy the dark.

Only time I support Ingerland is when they play Scotland. Football really pisses me off, bent corrupt FIFA & Premier League, arse licking media...
The good thing we learned when Ingerland played in the Euros back in 1996 was that the roads were empty when they were playing so you could get out for some enthusiastic motorbiking fun whilst the sad twats were shouting at the telly. This time, due to them playing in Magaland unless you want to be riding at daft o'clock we don't even get the empty roads bonus.

I've looked at the results but am camping and hiking in the Sierra Nevada mountains this week, no telly. I'll pay more attention next week when I'm home but the kick off times are proper rubbish.

Roads are usually quiet in the middle of the night

Here in the Land down under, the matches are on at a reasonable time. Well, as long as you don’t mind a 6.00 am start for the early ones.
The locals don’t do “Soccer”,and there was no mention on any TV of the build up to the event, but the news channels went overboard with their result of Turkey. They do like a winner here but it’ll be forgotten about as soon as their time is up.
The newsreaders here are having trouble trying to pronounce some Countries names, obviously reading straight off the autocue. We know the Country as Turkey, but apparently they think it’s Turkieieyeie. Or something. The Czech Republic has morphed into Checksieia, and I’ll wager that some matches will involve Doctor Congo.
Seem to be getting British commentators, which on the most part is a good thing, except one. Yee gods no,an if you know, you know.

Turkey have recently changed the pronunciation of Turkey. I found out about it during Eurovision, so it is now officially ‘Turk-a-yee’.
They no longer wanted their country being mixed up with the big bird that gobbles - and no, I don’t mean your mum.
Yes, I’m watching the World Cup. I’m ambivalent about it all though and the refreshment breaks are just more advertising time and a shit idea.

The Czech Republic has also had a glow up and is now called Czechia.

Dislike football intensely. And I saw a clip on social media of some bloke get a yellow card for diving and rolling around on the floor like a 2 year old.
So that totally reinforced why I stopped watching it. I have the intention of watching zero games. Fucking overpaid prima donnas.

I wonder who the Scots will support once Scotland gets eliminated. Probably whoever England is playing.

And yet somehow all of you find your way into a World Cup thread to tell us time and time again you don't like the sport.
I don't like broccoli you know, I hate it and I'm never eating it again. I may start a broccoli
