Are they worth the money?
Are they comfortable?
Does the exoskeleton snag on everything?

Are they any better that conventionally armoured gloves ?

Handroids.

I've got some mk3's. The current ones are mk4's IIRC, but they're not much different.

Mine fit me great and feel really safe, winding the boa thing takes a few secs longer than a traditional cuff. They're are bulky on the back of the hand, but you don't notice it when riding.

Not crashed in them yet.

The wife bought them me as a present when my sp8's stared to show serious wear.

How many are using them in road racing and short circuit racing? That’s my answer, think they look shite as well.

Which is actually a very good point. The bit about being used in racing - not the looks part
I wonder if it engineering where none is needed or traditional build (which they use on non-handroid ranges) is just as good.

I wanted some tbh.
But I struggle to find nice fitting gloves so headed off to my local sportsbikeshop and tried them on, even the XXL just didn’t feel nice!
Ended up buying a pair of RST gloves instead and they fitted 100% better.

I didn't know what they were, so I googled them and watched a review video. They do look like an answer to the glove problem no one had!

I bought a pair but sold them after a week.
I found them to be bulky and uncomfortable on the bike. The novelty closure system was a faff.

I now use RST Evo 4 on the track. Good value and crash well.

That probably tells me all I need to know !

Have a pair of the MK1s but they a) leak and b) fingers are a bit too short. I normally use size 9s and on other gloves the finger lengths are fine but on the Handroid 9s I find they are too short and on a long ride, it starts to hurt.

BTW, just noted spell check changed the title - I know they are Handroids

Next question
I have some old ( but comfortable) Heine Gerike gloves - they are not CE marked.
Would that get me in trouble with Le Flic?

I imagine BKS M2M gear is in an altogether higher quality league – using far better leather – than Knox, RST, etc. But @GuzziPaul can give a first-hand report on BKS’s quality and customer service.

Lovely but the don't do 2XL

In A* I'm 2Xl I have broad hands rather than long. The BKS gloves I got are XL. It was good that I actually popped into BKS and tried a few pairs on. They didn't need any breaking in, but I did get the rubber visor wipe removed, free of charge, because it was digging in. The design has now changed to relocate the wipe away from the seam. I did think about Knox gloves as well but thought the wrist adjustment was a bit bulky

Following on from this - I bought some BKS gloves - they are the Brian Samson ones - for a princely sum of 20 GBP off Facebook Marketplace. BKS doing said I should be XL - boy the are tight but wearing in. I have the all weather ones - so keeping an eye out for the summer ones
