Reckon next Monday might be a good day for a ride. Based on Lady Di's funeral I reckons the roads will be empty. Wife is going to watch it all on TV so I will have the day to myself. Thinking of going to Southwold, my only concern is petrol staions being open so I've got enough fuel to get home as its about a 200 mile round trip

Most supermarket fuel stations have pay at the pump.
I pretty much use pay at the pump exclusively because I hate people.

Tesco at Martlesham and Stowmarket have pay at pump if you're Southwold bound, the station at Stratford St. Andrew on the A12 might well be open.
Dunno if I'd go to Southwold, you might get chased by a board of pitchfork wielding pensioners, Walberswick will be full of weekend luvvies, Covehithe might be suitably quiet.

Forgot about pay at the pump. Our Tesco is either or and Asda is card only.

Went into the local Shell yesterday, they are closed 10.00 to 11.30 on Monday, so should be ok to fill up on the way out.

Sounded like a lot of bikes out early today. Ended up doing about 100 miles on the Tuono, up north of Newmarket and back. Lots of petrol stations shut and even Tesco pay at pump. Came home had something to eat then out on the Le Mans only 30-40 miles as I didn't have a lot of fuel and it went onto reserve.
Only about 10 bikes at Finchingfield, which was a suprise from what I'd heard and didn't see any on the back roads to Newmarket.
