Bee Line navigation

I would like some sort of simple navigation - I can buy a discounted Garmin Zumo XT with a Blue Line card - but it feels like over kill.
I tried my iPhone 11 on a quad lock mount and it buggered the phone. Still had the mount with the damper - but decided not to risk it.
Hence there is the Beeline system.
Anyone had any experience of it?
Yeah or ney?

I have one, and really like it. The app's great, and you get used to the minimal information on the device. The only issue is that when you've got a couple of junctions in close proximity, as in left then immediately right, it can be easy to miss the second one, so you have to keep an eye on it in complex situations. Despite that, for me, it's pretty much all I need from a satnav.

I don't have one but I've got a couple of friends who have used them and they say they're very good.

Which is kind of where I am - I don't intend to go to Ulan Bator via the Silk Road but avoiding all tolls. I just want something relatively simple.
I can normally navigate quite well innately - but for example, when I am in France in a couple of week time - what happens if I lose the (GPSed up to the hilt) BMW boys.

And I certainly don't want it playing "Rumours"

I known what you mean, if I lost my phone I'd be fcuked. I used it for nav, finding campsite/hotels, bars.
Mines a cheap wireless charging mount from China, should be ok.

I bought a Beeline and will be seeing how it functions over this weekend.
Anything else seems a little bit like overkill - I have absolutely no ambition to travel to the arctic circle only using B roads ...

Sort of on topic but I’ve noticed something that my Tom Tom rider 550 has started doing. I’m not sure if it’s always done it or I’ve just noticed. It tell me when I’ve entered an average speed camera zone, how far until the exit and what my average speed has been since I passed the first camera. Pretty neat I think.

The TomTom app I have on my phone does that too. Very useful feature.

Maybe he's so smitten with it he's been riding all day ever since, and hasn't had time to post on here?

Reply later today - when I get home.
But it is exactly the tool I wanted ( and the right size)
The only issue is how much battery power it uses - so I will have to hard wire a phone connection in

For me the beeline looks good, but doesn't give enough information in confusing settings. It's the last mile or two where you usually need the most help, and it's just not enough for that, IMO.
So, I use the quad lock with vibration damper. Usually on Waze for directions, since it's better at Malta than Google maps.
It works!
