On the subject of hands, I have a thing called Dupuytren's Contracture. I had surgery on my left hand in 2021 and desperately need it again, the ring finger is properly fucked. I have an appointment to in a couple of weeks. These pics are pre op 2021, it's worse now. Both hands are a bit fucked, I'll take some more pics if I can be bothered.
Pics are from 2021, it's back and worse. This is my left hand, my right hand isn't as buggered.

A chap I knew had that and it almost took him over the side of his boat. He was a creel fisherman and his little finger caught in the netting as he was throwing a creel over the side. His solution was to have the finger amputated.
