Red “cookies” panel on RTTL?

This is a new thing which started today. When I open RTTL, I get a large red panel at the top, requiring me to accept cookies before I can continue. It then seems to have difficulty with facial recognition, and I have to enter a passcode to get any further. I’m uneasy…
Any ideas? Sinister? How to rectify?

The cookies thing has always been there, since day 4.
Why yours is now asking for it again, i have no idea. I've only had it once, well once per device.

Yes, logged in for first time on Linux Mint and I got the red banner. Not had it since.

Ok,but it’s never happened before, ever. And now it happens every time I open RTTL, and also if I move to a different topic on the site. The red cookies panel, and I have to log in from scratch every time I leave the site and return - user name, password, the lot. Very strange and very annoying.

I'm going to bet £10 that if you use a different browser/machine it all magically goes away

I should have said - I’m on my phone (iPhone), what I usually use. Just had to log in, again, to reply to this. Yes, “remember me”, each time.

Try a different browser on the phone please

Depends on the cookie. Chocolate chip, you can forget it. Custard creams dont sound to good either

Probably can get a cream for that

Thanks for help and suggestions…took a good deal of time/investigation of bits of my phone I never knew existed. It seems I’d switched to Safari without realising. Now on Chrome and all seems well again. The bunny is happy.
