Re: Tyre pressures

My last set of tyres were run at 32psi front and 26psi rear, the pressures were displayed on the dash usually showing within 1psi of what I had set them to.

Re: How much do you spend on a motorcycle exhaust?

The last exhaust I purchased was a slip-on Akrapovic end can for the Gen 4, iirc that was £700. I would have purchased the full system but I was using the bike for commuting to work leaving early in the morning so decided against it. I can’t remember the price of that but maybe in the region of £1600.

Re: Got to love carbs...

The 9r’s have carb heating, they improved it in the later models, double rail instead of the single rail that was on the c’s. I got it bad on my c model back in the day as I used that daily for work, was a pain in the old cock.

HR stuff yes, all sorted now, well depends what you class as being sorted. All I’ll say is I’ll be keeping my wits about me and to trust nobody, some proper fuck nuggets about that’s for sure.

Re: Robot lawn mowers, anyone got one?

Can you set a boundary? Or does it just keep going until it can't go past a fence or something?

This one has sensors, so it stops if it comes up against something. The really cheap ones you have to put a boundary wire around the edges. The really expensive ones you can create maps using the ...

Just seen a video of Bez apologising to the marshal, giving him his gloves I believe and a big hug. All good!

Re: Brno MotoGP

They released the footage from the onboard camera. When the Marshal attempts to lift the bike something happens and causes the bike to go full throttle, whether it was from him accidentally pulling on the throttle or possibly a fault within the bike and the reason I say that is immediately the ...

Re: Can you use an Ipad as a big iPhone?

Yes you can use it as a phone, to a certain extent anyway, WhatsApp, FaceTime etc etc. Possibly even more so if used in conjunction with a iphone but don’t quote me on that.

When I purchased my iPad Pro back in 2018/19 it was a cellular iPad to begin with, had its own number, 5G or possibly 4G then ...

Is your eye fully back to normal again? That sounded quite tricky…

Not back to normal.

The pupil is still dilated, I think it’s went down slightly but whether it will go down any more or not I do not know. If I read something with my bad eye closed it’s as clear as anything and when I close my ...

Re: What I do now………

I say it every time but doing the units brings is the best money for me, it requires a lot of hours to do plus because they tend to neglect them I always have to do over and above work on them. Replace broken bits, failed bearings etc. It is time consuming but it is worth it in the end up.

I did ...

Re: What I do now………

Some of the machines at Muckhart that I serviced a short while back. The two GP400’s are what they use for the greens, aprons and tees. There is a third one as well which is more of a back up machine, it only has 2 wheel drive so they don’t tend to use that, especially when the conditions are iffy ...

Re: What I do now………

A vid of the work being carried out on the RTV900 above that had the head gasket failure. That’s back up and running good now. I also replaced the rear axle seal on the BX2350 that I had mentioned before. That required draining all the hydraulic oil, I replaced with fresh oil and a new hydraulic ...
