The weather has been shit here,no riding. I'm getting withdrawal symptoms and running low on polish......

On Sunday I rode my Mt09 from the garage to the end of the drive for its new owner to ride away on .
Sad to see it go after owning it for over 5 years, it hasn't missed a single beat! Just fancy a change.
Need to make my mind up what to replace it with now

It wouldn't make for very interesting reading to be honest pal. I tend to just read stuff ,watch videos and over think things until I change my mind over and over again.
I really hate the process of buying and selling unlike a few others on here who I can't even keep track of what bike/bikes they have as they move them on so quickly

Yeah but you can tell us all what you want and why, we can tell you why you're wrong and our ideas are better for youmatt wrote: Tue Aug 17, 2021 4:24 pm It wouldn't make for very interesting reading to be honest pal. Too wet to take a pic of the bike out today ….. wetter than an otters pocket
Forecast said light rain showers for an hour or two …… it’s been solid rain all day apart from a half hours gap at 2 o’clock and still lobbing down

Took the crf for some fresh Welsh air with a bit of drizzle thrown in. Cracking ride, over 100 miles of dodgy back lanes and hilly bits.
Through the Tanat Valley to Bala,

then up the Bwlch y Groes, bit murky up there. Aka the Hell fire pass with Wooden cross still in place.

Then over to Lake Vyrnwy, met a lovely chap in his 91 yo. A fine Bentley blower and sounded fantastic. Over the dam and back home.

Bentley blower 1930, with super charger out front. Wonder what that's worth. ??

Dang! Wrong picture.

Out today as La Vueleta is passing 20 minutes from me. Found a nice shady spot by the side of the N332 just north of Guardamar Del Segura.
Already 31°c and this spot is just 20kms from the start, with 153kms still to go.
Nice way to spend an idle bit of time on a sunny Saturday.

I'll post some up lateŕ, as my phone won't resize them.
I could not believe the sheer number of support vehicles and number of spare bikes on their roofs. Also, I was told that the motorcycle police here were not very approachable. Today disproved that, as faced with a two mile strip.of empty road, they were redlining their bikes along it (sometimes two side by side, drag racing) whilst waving and flicking their sirens on as they passed us.

Well the skys looked a bit 50/50 when I left this morning, but after nearly a month since I’d had a chance to go for a spin there was no question.

The weather came good in then end and i made a quick stop near a landmark fans of Forza Horizon 4 will recognise.

Re: When/Where/Pics was the last time you rode your bike ?
First day out on the bike in a while, since the August weather has been tragic. It was quite like an Autumnal day, cool, damp patches, water running across roads, but worst of all was the fog patches here and there. Riding along with the visor up to see anything is crap after a few miles.
There were some good parts too and I was just content to get out and ride.
You can see the sea mist in the second pic.

Re: When/Where/Pics was the last time you rode your bike ?
Two of us had a ride over to the Lake District today, 260 miles round trip. It was a bit murky early on but it brightened up and turned out a lovely sunny day. We stoppesd at Hartside for a cuppa, you can see how misty it was over the Lakes

We stopped for dinner at the cafe at the top of Honister pass

It was a good day out, but narrow roads and lots of traffic reminded me why I don't venture over there too often
