Running shoes are one of those things I should really replace more often than I do. I can see myself buying a lot of Brookes shoes in future, but mostly 'cause Mrs. D is now an official "ambassador" for them
The ones I got are these https://www.nike.com/gb/running/zoom-tempo which are apparently more of a training shoe than a racing shoe, so should be good for about 500 miles, or kilometres, can't remember which.
At the moment I'm running about 30-40km a week, so they should last me a bit.
I have used Adidas Ultraboost for ages, but I bought new ones recently and they've changed them, resulting in pain from the uppers. On the plus side it did make me realise I'd used my old ones for too long, compared to the new ones they feel like a busted old couch.
I'll try these Nikes and see how I get on.

Probably a nice bike, but I wouldn't know about that? 
It looked cheap, so we found a sales guy, he pulled it off the 'reduced' shelf and sat it on the counter. Then mentioned that there was no box or filter, or even a power cord and that's why it was so cheap.
