Heated socks and heated blanket - I must have been chilly when I wrote to Santa.

Some stuff to crochet with and wind wool with.

Sparkly things to stick in my earlobes.

Lots of girly make up, glittery bath bombs, smelly creams and potions.

I'm very happy :D

LOL. You'll not get splinters in your bum, it's basically rayon - a semi-synthetic made from the cellulose extracted from the bamboo. Better for the planet than cotton though so you're now officially 'Green'. Probably counts as carbon offset against the bike. :D
I hope the bamboo is specially grown and not taken from panda food.

Cufflinks x 2 sets - meteorite and custom ones with my birthplace and the wife's birthplace, T-Shirt, single malt and shed loads of love from the family. Very nice indeed!

Two gifts -

I DIDN'T test positive so can still work (at the moment!! LOL)

And, I went for dinner with a friend (early doors cos I had to get up at 3.30am to go to work!!) and we had entrecote steaks cooked on an open fire in the restaurant. Bloody awesome. Gift part was that he paid! Unexpected and surprising. But very welcome! :D :D

Oh, a 3rd - some friends I met for coffee bought Irish coffees for us all - mine was an Irish coffee with Rum not whiskey!! (My Irish Grannie was most definitely a rum girl, not a whiskey girl!! LOL)

I got a lovely Courchevel branded hipflask and a bright orange water bottle from my boss along with some ski socks.
Chef bought me a lovely snowboard decoration which will go in my camper :)

I also got €150 cash from the self catered guests.

All my gifts were good, none available for swaps 8-) 8-)

I specifically asked the family for nothing. As my wife was moaning about my saying that, I got her to give me my makita pump I bought a couple of weeks back, but she also gave me a nice shirt and pair of trousers.

On Xmas day I still got presents from the family when they arrived despite my request for nothing, but it turned out they were lovely gifts and things I was very glad to get. My Son got me (well, refunded my daughter) a new Nike tracksuit. My daughter bought me a black pair of my favourite Puma trainers. My Sister got me a nice Mercedes fleece. It was a lovely few days with family over Xmas and having my daughter back for a few days was the best gift of all. I really miss having that mad thing around! :D

Also, with my physiotherapy having some effect, I have decided to treat myself to a new motorbike in the new year, but have no idea what to get? Still, looking at various bikes is a good way to while away the hours...

I have to get some gym kit as officially disabled now and have to attend weekly physio/rehab sessions, so it saved me buying it!

Mrs M got me a new polar sports watch as my old one is dying a slow death. I like it, but it properly tells me how unfit I am ☹️. I also got some new handlebar grips for the MTB from Mrs M and some shorts from the outlaws and a nice quicksilver fleece from my mum so a good haul this year.

Sort of a Christmas present as it was delivered on the 22nd - a Morphy Richards 'Clarity' soup maker. It came top of the Which? 50 best things of 2021 and sounded useful so ordered one direct from MR (at several £ less than other places, if they actually had them).

Just given it a 'test drive' and it's a  10 mins prep, chuck stuff in and press go. 21mins later, soup.

Whether it ends up in the deep, dark cupboard of 'really useful kitchen gadgets' - time will tell. :D

Main Christmas prezzy will be from Screwfix after 1/1/22 when my 10% off voucher is valid.

I love his new bike threads.

Me I go say, ktm690, Mt 07, Yamaha xt660x

You know, basis on a theme. He throws in

50cc scooter, 1200cc Harley, KTM 690.

 Funnily enough a 690 is on my radar, even though I don't want it to be, but I guess you're the last person that needs that explaining to! ;) :D But yes, a sh300 scooter, a RE Himalaya and a Harley have been looked at!
