I wouldn't hold your breath. I started this project a month ago and was so disheartened by it I kept some of the bikes in the van for a bit

Success, I’m sure it will be a lot less exciting getting it out again.

Under no circumstances am I allowed to have it running down there I remember the days when my missus would help me get my kmx through the front door and into the living room, when we lived in the seedier part of town, before I had a garage.

I'm fortunate to have two work spaces - one in the shed at the end of the garden, the other in my cellar. These pics are of the cellar (fairly obviously). Unlike Gregor I wouldn't even think about trying to get a motorbike down there. The biggest/heaviest thing I've ever managed (with assistance) is a VFR750 motor.

I bloody love cellars. They're secure (or as secure as you can get), they're warm (comparatively) in winter and cool in summer and they're multi-function spaces. I wouldn't buy a house without one. Mine is as cluttered as you like, despite my best efforts to keep it tidy, but just about workable.
