Leaning in a car?
I've become more aware that I lean into the corner as well as turning the steering wheel. Bloody daft I know but unless I consciously think not to do it, it happens every time.

My driving instructor muttered something about "You all do it ... "
But now, no.

I even do it as a passenger...

I loved mine. I’m seriously thinking about getting another instead of a replacement apriliaKungFooBob wrote: Thu Apr 27, 2023 8:06 pmMy sister had a 2CV6, it was a wretched thing. Leaned the wrong way!

Re: Leaning in a car?
My old man restored it for her, had a new galvo chassis, king pins, etc.. I refused to drive it, but she drove me to town in it once. I never asked again.dern wrote: Thu Apr 27, 2023 8:15 pmI loved mine. I'd be half tempted by a Beetle or a Moggy as an classic to sit on the drive and tinker with.

Re: Leaning in a car?
I remember going out in a car with some friends (way before I had a bike licence!!) - the two in the front had not long passed their bike tests and me and the other in the back spent the whole journey giggling cos they both leaned into every corner!!

I don't htink I do, but then, I didn't drive the transit (or minibuses!) in a way that would make me feel the need!! LOL
Luckily I realised before it became an issue and sheepishly pulled back into the queue
(Lean away from the hill, doesn't feel right!! If you had that angle to a road on a bike you'd be leaning into it
)

I did that once, well, attempted to! Hadn't driven a car for over 6 months (probably a year!) and had used the bike to go everywhere in that time. Came up behind two lanes queuing for traffic lights in town and automatically pulled out to the right to go around the traffic to get to the front
Luckily I realised before it became an issue and sheepishly pulled back into the queue
You lean the other way on skis - proper confuses me for the first few weeks
Life is for living. Buy the shoes. Eat the cake. Ride the bikes. Just, ride the bikes!!

Go Karts too, leaning 'in' to a corner is bad.Noggin wrote: Thu Apr 27, 2023 9:31 pm You lean the other way on skis - proper confuses me for the first few weeks![]()

I don't think I lean in a car.
Computer racing games though! I'm swaying all over the shop playing them.
