This thread isn't filling me with joy! I want to put a 'floating' loo in my place!!

If they're properly installed they're no problem - they use them in public facilities because a) easier to clean around/under and b) nothing exposed to vandalise. The local sports club has them and some of the blokes there aren't 8st weaklings so they're pretty solid.
