I only enter the big comps for the cash alternatives as I have absolutely no need for a super car and probably couldn’t even get in and out of one lol! That said, A guy I know had a convertible Porsche as a daily and whilst it cost him a bit more in servicing compared to a normal car, it was faultless in the time he owned it.Scud wrote: Fri Feb 09, 2024 7:22 am As much as the thought of winning a Ferrari, Lamborghini or whatever supercar is great, in reality you’re only one problem away from a repair bill that would break you.
I would just have to sell it straight away, probably without even driving it.
It is possible, dependent on how deep your pockets are. My friend sold his F355 and joined what used to be called Ecurie 25 - you buy days (his package was circa £20k per year!) where you can take pretty much any of the latest supercars for a day, weekend etc and drive like you would in a rental Fiat Panda in SpainNoggin wrote: Fri Feb 09, 2024 11:08 am I'd bloody love to drive a Ferrari around this roads in anger!! But I wouldn't want to own one!!Cash alternative and I'd rent one for a few days
