A few curry houses near me have been fined for selling beef as lamb. Some now just call it 'meat' on the menu.

You can have a Chicken Naga or a Meat Naga, etc...

I sometimes prefer it to chicken because it's got a bit of flavour of it's own (if tougher)

Have to admit - I've not tried the "lamb" from our current curry-house (we only have 1 curry-house in Chichester that are prepared to deliver outside the city walls.... we're only 2.5 miles from the city centre. )

I've never tasted kingfisher. There can't be a lot of meat on them as they're not that big.

A delicacy perhaps. I doubt they're as tasty as collared doves.

Do you mean how far does it go out into the river, or how long is it going along side the river, though the current one is a modern recreation of the original which was demolished nearly 100 years ago.

The one on the beach
