Just glue a bit of timber batten into the reveal head with sticks like, sticksall/whatever.
Hold it in place till its set (I usually just fire a few second fix brads in at angles so it holds till the glue sets.
Then fix the blinds to the timber.
More or less the same as curtain battens.
