It does say in the advert "2 pre-mounted 75mm diameter and 20mm wide discs (1 grinding disc, 1 polishing disc)

I need to post a correction, it's does have pre-drilled mounting holes. I need to go to spec savers.

Presumably pre-tapped holes in cast lugs in the base? (I bet they're Cycle thread..... )

For the same reason you don't put a fine edge on a wood chisel with a concrete paver.

It's a milwaukee cordless m12 portable bandsaw. Definitely didn't need it as I have a hacksaw but it cuts through steel and aluminium like butter. It cut that steel box section in a couple of seconds. Very pleased indeed and will definitely make cutting metal less painful (arthritis in fingers).

I've a few M12 milwaukee tools now and very impressed with all of them.

I've a few M12 milwaukee tools now and very impressed with all of them.

My nephew, apprentice electrician, loves his M12 kit, the cut off saw and heated jacket are particularly good. He barely picks his M18 kit up these days as the M12 is as capable as the higher voltage kit whilst being much lighter for all day use.

Watched it the other day, interesting build (although after watching three versions of the tambour door I ran out of time and went to work) with some amazing details.

Not "purchases", per se..... but on Sunday I picked up a few things from my Dad's old workshop....

These Draper socket sets were always in disarray when my Dad was working on something... but even after what must be at least 40 years now... there's only 3 sockets missing from the 3/8" set! (the 9,12,14 mm sockets and a couple of extensions)





The 1/2" set is complete.


A load of taps and dies : mostly imperial, but there were a few metrics as well

Yeah, i could. But I've got plenty of 3/8s stuff already.

In fact, it's quite possible that i have those very sockets somewhere in my toolboxes already.
