@cheb would be a good shout,though he hasn't been about for a while. (hope he's ok)
@Screwdriver would be another possibility.

Brickie, Kendo and Dern are all proud lathe owners. I think Eclipse may be too.
Nice little project for Dern and his new lathe.

I’ve only just started using it today so I need more practice before making something to spec. Sorry.
Also, you need to specify material op.

Mild, stainless, brass, ally.dern wrote: Mon Dec 30, 2024 10:14 pm I’ve only just started using it today so I need more practice before making something to spec. Sorry.

It's to locate a wheel centre on a hub so not material sensitive.....unless galvanic corrosion is included.
Doesn't have to be to the ⅒mm

Brass or ally would be perfect starter materials.

Re: A call out to lathe owners!
Have you seen the price of brass bar .
As for the spacers , they are a bit large for me , i have no bar that diameter .
Re: A call out to lathe owners!
I'll dig through my random materials box and see if I have anything of that size outer. I turned a part last week from memory 84mm outer - which makes me think I'd know if I had something that kinda size.
BTW: I don't class myself as a proud lathe owner, I regard taking on this sort of thing as more of a dirty habit.....
