Although it's been dry and sunny the past week,I haven't been out for a while due to the council and their Gary Gritter machine. It's starting to eat me now and I need a fix,so I dragged both the triples out and fired them up. I took them around the couple of miles of clean roads close by,just to get them warmed up,as I don't like garage starts if I can avoid them. Didn't even need a helmet. Us webels wock,though my nose was cold and my eyes watered.

Lovely bikes.


I rode mine today on way to pay for my next bike. Pick up Thursday.

Mot day 1500 miles since last year…….shameful.

Managed 4 hours enduro today. A local lad just bought a KTM690 Enduro and wanted to know the legal routes.
So managed the whole tour on legal dirt roads, apart from about 5 miles.

His bike struggled on a few bits. Stuff where the Duster has managed and even Pen's little 125
I wouldn't have one of them for off road use

Where the Thames meets the North Sea

Lovely day today so took the Suzuki out for quick ride to a pal on far side of island.
Not ridden it since October so was a bit apprehensive, but painkillers did their job.
The riding position is perfect so no pressure on arms or wrists where the pain can be worst.

I'd forgotten how much fun 200 gee gees are

Went out for coffee...tried to find something black, besides the bike No luck so just parked up.

A bit parky out today,down in the lower single figures. Glad of heated gear.

Did fun enduro ride. First 2 hours I chose harder terrain than last 3 rides.
Last half hours arms were on fire.

When I got to the huge sand dunes, I was too shagged to play. Usually do every climb a few times.

Was having a great ride and it's fun riding over the lava flow. Then got a rear puncture. I'd forgotten my Camel pack with tyre goo so had to ride about 8 or 9 miles at about 10 mph gripping bars like mad as tyre was squirming everywhere.
Was even worse on tarmac. Only had to do about half mile near home.
Arms are on fire now.

The day you forget to carry your chain breaker tool (bicycle) is the day you break your chain...miles from home...no phone reception...last time I did the long scenic commute route home!! But you live and hopefully learn/remember:)

The weather was decent for the first time in over a fortnight so three of us got out for a spin & catch up.





It felt like late winter/ early spring,I'm looking forward to the better weather

I've done just over 110 miles on the Gold Star today, first time it's turned a wheel this year and only the fourth time I've ridden it.

321.7 miles on the clock now, keeping it below 3.5krpm (55mph) is challenging on open roads, so I'm sticking to the naddgery back roads, that 110miles took over three hours non-stop.

I forgot to stop to take pictures, I did get quite lost in the Peak District tho'

Lovely warm(ish) day here too. Had a good couple of runs,but didn't stop for pics.

All change for tomorrow with yet more gale force winds from early morning. I'd be happy if all these gales would do one.
