If you did you have a claim. If you are just joining in the feeding frenzy you are the problem
I'm using the payout from my PPI claim to fund this one

So, not only are you the problem, you are a serial problem.

Everyday I do the Wordle puzzle
Everyday I click share
Everyday I click copy
Everyday Bananaman (remember him?) posts his puzzle on Facebook
Everyday I click reply to BM, go to paste but my results are never there!! It happened with my old Samsung, it happens with my new honor phone.

Parents! Ok, not all but definitely some!!

Picked up from ClubMed today and the last passengers on board were a family. The mother came to ensure the luggage actually went into the coach and said to me -

We’re leaving a bit early aren’t we?

Well, I don’t choose the departure times so I said I don’t know.

Their flight is 16h, the coach was likely (and did!) get to Grenoble between 13:15 & 13:30 - which leaves a bit of time in case of issues/delays.

So I said that. Her response -

Well I’m just worried that we won’t be able to entertain our 2 year old for 3 hours on the coach, then three hours at the airport, and then on the flight, and then for an hour the other side

FFS woman. If you didn’t understand that some form of ‘entertainment’ for kids by parents is a necessary part of the job, maybe you should have waited to have them (they also had a baby!)

Also - if you don’t want that hassle then don’t bloody have them or don’t travel with them!! It’s not the drivers fault!!!!
Life is for living. Buy the shoes. Eat the cake. Ride the bikes. Just, ride the bikes!! :bblonde:

I've just found out that I will not be getting the summer job I had planned.

But what really BMP is finding out that 'they' have known this for at least a week and didn't simply tell me when I asked.

IKEA not selling Bilar sweets. :x

https://www.cloetta.com/en/about-cloett ... ens-bilar/

I went there for those handy zip-seal bags and for some Bilar. I managed to buy the bags and, I suspect, get myself a fine for riding in a bus lane, but no effing Bilar.

I'm still annoyed they stopped selling Dill flavoured crisps. 10 years ago.

I'm pissed that they only sell the Oat cookies in-store.

I still can't find anything similar anywhere else.

I bloody love these things though, I could smash a packet in one sitting easily.

I actually have a recipe to make them, they're even more snaffable when home made.

SWMBO is off to Ikea next week, no I don't know why we don't need anything but apparently it's a fun day out  and I do not want her coming back laden with sweets, sugar and high carb snackage

We always go at 1930 on a Thursday, it's dead quiet then :D

Does help that we live 2 miles away.

Maybe she likes mazes, people enjoy mazes. The only time I've been to Ikea it was just like a maze, but instead of hedges it was made up of shit you don't need. :D

I'll be fine, the Harley doesn't have a plate on at the minute, and no one said diddly last time I was out on it, so I may be a tad slow in putting one back on.

I've made a trip to IKEA just to buy a potato peeler in the past. And succeeded in leaving with only said peeler

I escaped with the three boxes of bags and a substitute pack of biscuits that were very disappointing as they were just a faux Jammy Dodger.

And I found many a secret door, a la Narnia, that took me closer to the exit.

That said, if I'm in IKEA for lots of stuff, I just embrace it and find fascination and pleasure in all that the Scandi shop can offer, including throwing cuddly toys about, skating about in office chairs, enjoying the bottomless piss-weak coffee, gorging on cheap pastries and ignoring the signs not to climb into bunk beds.

The one in MK has big "the floor is lava" decals on the floor of the short cuts. I think it's meant for the kids

When I worked in Aylesbury, I walked past Screwfix at least once a week.
It was physically impossible to just walk past.
Was never short of duct tape :obscene-birdiedoublered:
