Terms and conditions.

My Epson printer has become unusable coz I won't agree to use only Epson cartridges.
WTF. It's my printer so they can't rule me.

Then tonight, my posh LGV telly decides it's not gonna work unless I agree to the terms and conditions.
Fuck.
Again it's my telly.

Only use it to watch stuff from my iffy telly box
Won't even let me use it as just a screen.

Airports and flying. There is not one part of the process I like. Necessary evil to go to places within a time frame, but each time I do I enjoy it less and say it’s the last time…

You sure about that? ;)

It's remarkable isn't it? We've invented a way of soaring higher than the highest eagle, crossing the globe in the time it takes to have a good sleep, whizzing through the air at nearly the speed of sound itself...not only have we done that, but we've found a way to make the experience shitty too

We should be allowed to bundle it all back in the box and return it to the shop if we don't want to accept the T&Cs.

Ryanair bastards.

Booked extra leg room seats, row 16.

They changed the aircraft to a different type, extra leg room seats started at row 17, cabin crew didn't give a fuck

I worked for a company that amongst other things did ground handling for aircraft. Ryanair negotiated a contract for us to do their ground handling at Gatwick, so we transferred some staff to Gatwick and recruited others.

One week before we were to start Mr Fucking O'Leary says he is only going to pay about half of the agreed price. Fortunately our CEO had the balls to say piss off.

I avoid Ryanair if possible, both him personally and his company are lying shites.

+ where did the luggage go?

Given up with flying unless it's long distance and picked up from home + rapid boarding.

Although I'd happily do something like the 8 seat charter from Biggin Hill or other small airfield if there was a bunch of us. Mates used to do golf trips to Le Touquet like that.

In all fairness, many other places would have been preferable to Salzburg.

I normally cook poached eggs in the microwave by dropping them in a mug and doing 20 second blasts until they're ready. I'm staying with my parents at the moment and they have a convection microwave. I was finding that the eggs weren't cooking as evenly. I saw a 'hack' that said to put water in the mugs and crack the eggs into that. I thought I'd give it a go. It was all going well until I herd the unmistakable sound of an egg exploding. Not the end of the world, but the microwave screen went blank. After some faffing, i've had to unplug the microwave to get the trip switch for the plug circuit to stay on.

It appears my 'easy way' of cooking eggs is going to cost me many many euros :?

FFS

I said to the physio today, "I've been applying for jobs, I've told them I can start at the end of this month"

She pulled ' a face '

Beginning of next month I offered ?

her expression didn't change

Middle of next month?

'Maybe, hopefully' was the best she could manage.

Updates which are actually retrogrades.

For example, Google assistant has been upgraded to Gemini, however, you can’t voice control Google home devices from Gemini and I’m fucked if I’m paying £19 a month to be able to voice control my garage door, assuming the premium version reinstates previous functionality.

Time to see if I can get the Alexa app to work from android auto.

Computers :obscene-birdiedoublered: :obscene-birdiedoublered: :obscene-birdiedoublered:

I'm trying to update my CV, I wanted to add photos.
When I import the pic, its way too big, the scaling tool in the app, won't make it small enough.
No worries, google reveals I can resize the image in the preview app on my Macbook. I resize it significantly.

When I import the new image into the pages App I'm using, THE PHOTO IS THE EXACT SAME SIZE

I mean FFS how can that be ??!!
