Tooks the wife's car in to be looked at on Monday.

She now has no way to get to work.

Not a problem take my car, I'll go on the bike.

I've prepped the Beemer today, tires up to pressure, battery refitted, new battery in the keyfob, wiped all the dust off it, then checked the tax. It's on SORN!

I don't remember sorning it, it's usually taxed all year round (despite not turning a wheel this year so far).

Looks like I'm going to work on the Beeza then.

Can tax it immediately?

Assuming it's insured and MoTd course.

But I'd have to pay for the whole of April and there's only four days left.

I'm from Yorkshire, it's not allowed.

It only works out as a tenner or something, it's the principle of it though.

Mowed the lawn, had some mates over for lunch outside in the lovely warm sunshine, put some air in the tyres and lube on the chain and nipped out for a quick play on the KTM 😎

Usual banality of grocery shopping with a twist, I’ve managed to prepare breakfast and lunch for the next few days with evening meals all planned as well.

Took the hound for a run, normally route, a couple of laps around the park where he can run free, sniff and piss where he wants, plus a fair deal of interaction with other dogs. However, this time, I took a ball flicker and kept launching the ball for him when he’d finally drop it. We managed a lap and a half before he took the hump and lay down in the grass, proper knackered :D I popped his lead on and he just trotted along with me back to the car.

Then build my first Lego set for the first time in 40 years

Today’s model was Mansell’s Williams F1 from the Icons series, I also bought the Senna McLaren to build as well. It was a thoroughly enjoyable couple of hours and the cars will match nicely with the diecast 1/18 scale F1 models I discovered in my dad’s loft I had as a kid.

The first Lego technic kit I had was 853/956 Auto Chassis (http://technicopedia.com/853.html) which was released in 1977.

FFS moment, but funny..

One of my mates at the RockStore is a 75yo sports injury specialist Doctor/Physio Terrorist.

This morning he's sitting in a chair outside the store part at the top of the steps. I'm walking up the steps & just as I'm about to step onto the top step he throws a banana skin onto it.

I cracked up laughing.... "trying to drum up business there Jim?"

Jim: Was it that obvious?

Yeah, kinda..
