Sat in A&E for 5 hours and counting. Usually that meant it was low low low priority, but I’ve been vomiting blood since 2pm and the guy next to me has had a heart attack. He’s been sat here nearly 8 hours.

Hope you’re ok docca
I’ve spent the weekend fixing the lodgers car, replaced o2 sensors, cleaned maf, fixed airbox all drives lovely now. Pulled instrument cluster apart to fix missing cel bulb (not failure) and found paper in the hole
Removed, cleared codes and fixed his rev counter.
Fixed a leaking power steering hose in the M5, only took me ten years to get around it, tinkered with the mini and now replacing the airbox on the camper
Then chilling with red dead redemption 2

Re: What have you done today thread?
Thanks folks.
I’ve been scanned and re-scanned and tubed and god knows what else. Best guess is severe food poisoning. I’d been at a friends BBQ for lunch and the prawns (never eating them again) and oysters (not them) did taste a bit funny.
I’m ok now I think. Need to eat the plainest of plain foods for 6 weeks and get another check up.
Heart attack bloke survived and was being admitted to a ward when I was leaving (about an hour ago)
9 hours in A&E waiting room. One person had been there 2 days. I’d say 50% of folk there didn’t really need to be. Running out of meds seemed to be a common reason. Can’t see a GP I guess.

Successfully moved a cabinet full of wood into his workshop.
Moved a cabinet of my tools out of the workshop and into the garage.
Successful swap, completed painlessly.

Got home from a coupel of days away in the camper. Saturday weas nice but yesterday was a bit cold to be on the coast. A couple of problems with the camper, not holding water in the onboard tank and sink drain must be loose as it flooded. Ho hum.

Got carried away. Cleared the rest of his stuff/lumps of wood out and dragged them down to the workshop. Started rearranging things.Sunny wrote: Mon May 05, 2025 12:04 pm Successfully moved a cabinet full of wood into his workshop.

You're not coming anywhere near my garage, duckypoos. Or my shed. Wars have been started for less...

I'd be quite happy if Mrs D sorted and cleared a load of stuff from the garage.
I don't think it's gonna happen any time soon. But I'd be quite happy

In my defence, I also sorted out the bloody workshop last year, as he'd got tools and cabinets scattered all over the place and option paralysis when it came to sorting it out. He was well chuffed
I get really annoyed when he leaves MY tools lying around, so it wasn't entirely selfless tbf.
