A new Tyre for me. Anyone ever ?
A new Tyre for me. Anyone ever ?
Well I haven’t. Never heard of them.
It was an option given to me by a Dealer, the alternatives were the usual contenders, but at nearly twice the price.
This will be my third set since the start of my travels and it seems that I have more of a Chicken Channel that a Strip.
Whether this is false economy I shall see, but somebody has to.

I haven’t got to find half a second, and it hasn’t got to last 10 laps. I just hope it can do a decent mileage in a mostly straight line.weeksy wrote: Thu May 15, 2025 7:01 am Yeah i've heard of thing, Chinese jobbie i think, but as to whether they're good or bad, i have no clue.
I’ll know in a month (or less)

Theres usually two types of budget tyres...
No grip, last forever.
Or

I hadn't heard of them,so I googled for more info. Google says they are decent for the price, but wear out faster than premium brands.

Never heard of that brand but I've used cheap Chinese tyre's for a good while now and they are absolutely fine. I'd imagine in Aussie straight line's they'll square off, but wouldn't they all.

Shinkos are the darling of the custom bobbers amongst other types. Been around for some time too.

Think I had one on a CX a long time ago - I may be imagining this.
