Last Friday I took the GS out to make sure all is good before upcoming Ireland trip. Wanted to make sure I could charge phone on the go. Din plugged in, cable to phone, yep all good.
This morning bike no starty. 10v, should be 12 or 13 and 14 . summot when running. Mate pushed me down the road to attempt a Bumpstart. 4th 5th 6th no chance, the old boxer 12 ain't made for bumping. Jumped it from car and it fire up.
Then.

..I noticed the Din plug had been left in socket.

Well, I thought it was an ignition live but no, permanent and this little poxy plug had took enough power out of battery in 3 days to make no start. It does have a tiny led light but jeez, didn't think that would hurt.
Rode to Bala with Ireland mate and neighbour mate and all good. Moral of the story...Never leave the plug in the hole, always remove after use.
