Just after 5am here, roomie just left to drive to her daughters place in Tucson.. I get a call just after she left telling me she "almost hit a guy wearing a dress walking down the middle of the road" about a mile from the house...

AH HA!! Garage is ALL MINE!!! ALL MINE!! until next Sunday. WooT!!
First project: tool tidy up & put away.
Then oil/filter change on the SBH, may even get ambitious & wash it.... or at least hose it off a bit.
Also: Need an oil/filter change on the ZRX11, but also need to investigate a rattle (possibly bolt on the alternator), fit a new starter/alternator chain & a new chain tensioner doodad for that.. which I have sitting in the stash, I bought the chain & doodad in 2005...

That’s like when I didn’t think my right arm would be able to control the throttle and told a mate that when I got back here I’d just swap the controls over and make the bike LHD -gremlin wrote: Mon Jun 16, 2025 8:11 pm Today I was asked if my motorbike had air conditioning.

She asked in all seriousness “so are the bike controls opposite over there? So LHD is normal??”
Although, I do now know that cycle brakes are opposite here

Any who, today I have mostly been scrambling like a mad bastard, finishing off all the work on my desk and getting ahead of work that's not on my desk yet, all done so I can now turn everything off and drop out of society for a week.

That's because you're 25º all year. It's going to be 35º in London for a couple of days. It's that temperature here now, but it's only for the next three months, then it'll get nice again.Yorick wrote: Thu Jun 19, 2025 5:46 pmOpen a window.
