Still doesn't lift as I haven't refilled it yet.

Fixing a floor jack...
It stopped lifting owing to being full of air instead of hydraulic fluid after 30+ years. Got some fluid for it. Gave it a clean up with surpy watter outside as it was covered in snarge. Damn thing looks brand new.

Mine has started to play up, definitely not lifting as cleanly as it used to. I assume there's air in the chamber and I need to bleed it. Probably not helped by me storing it up-ended and not leaving it sitting on it's casters.

It's a piece of piss to refill etc. Don't overfill it or it won't go all the way back down... & do it on the neighbors lawn in case it spits out the excess.Beancounter wrote: Thu Jun 19, 2025 11:19 pm Mine has started to play up, definitely not lifting as cleanly as it used to. I‘ve tried to spend some time working out your acronyms so that I have some idea what you’re talking about, mostly successfully - e.g. F350,ZRX, ZX etc. But…. What on earth is an SBH? Or an ST? Are they a bit like a Super, or a De Luxe, which means something’s got a heater and 2-tone paint?

ShitBox Honda. Ford Explorer ST, the 400hp twin turbo V6 version. It's a bit quick.Wossname wrote: Fri Jun 20, 2025 9:05 am I‘ve tried to spend some time working out your acronyms so that I have some idea what you’re talking about, mostly successfully - e.g. F350,ZRX, ZX etc. But….
