Just watched last week's. It's OK but I prefer Clarksons farm. He's into some funny stuff, playin music to his vines and big rocks. 🤷🏻‍♂️

We've just seen 28 Years Later.

Would not have guessed the final scene in a trillion years of guessing...

The Old Man. https://www.imdb.com/title/tt5645432/
Ponderous, the series not the old man, can't tell if Bridges is playing a part or just really really past it and should hang up his hat, but it's good enough to keep me watching it.

Mr Inbetween. https://www.imdb.com/title/tt7472896/?r ... mr%2520inb
Down to earth bloke making his way in the world as a hitman, it's just funny.

Alien: Earth

On Disney Plus.

If you like the Alien movie franchise then you'll flippin' love this. There's not quite the same amount of existential dread as the movies, but I think that makes it a bit more watchable as a series.

Children in adult android bodies, space ship crashes, new types of Aliens, Timothy Olyphant, what more do you want?

I did wonder why an urban search and rescue team go equipped with Pulse Rifles, come in hand tho'

There aren't many things that could tempt me to sign up for subscription TV but Aliens + Olyphant is a very tempting combination. :D

He knocked it out of the park in Deadwood and Justified and I even enjoyed Hitman. :D (Not in the Alan Rickman/Gruber, scenery-chewing class but his Die Hard baddy was pretty fair too).

He acts with his eyes, as spotted in Deadwood...stationary, standing Olyphant - 👀 look right - Olyphant swivels, exits stage right. :D

(Maybe he's a biker - look where you want to go. ).

There's something of a spolier on that in the 'cast and characters' in the Wiki info.

Got Ade Edmonson in too!

Yeah, doesn't look or sound like him, I saw his name in the end credits and couldn't remember seeing him, he's the Boy Geniuses left hand man.

I'm convinced one of the rescue guys who gets his face punched off by an aliens maw was Ralf Little, but Google says no.

Alone, https://www.imdb.com/title/tt4803766/ , love it.
The Rookie, top TV cop drama with a little humour thrown in
Alien: Earth, only just started, might have legs if you ignore the timeline, having avoided all of the prequal films I may be missing out on some plot lines / characters but we'll see

His speech on the drop ship in episode one does not lend towards him being human.

Are you all saying that with Alien: Earth, Disney have managed to make a series that hasn't totally f***ed up the franchise, as per Marvel and Star Wars (Mandalorian excepted)??

Yeah but nah, but not sure yet, it's supposed to be set after the prequals but before Alien, which kind of makes a mockery of the original films if they already new about the aliens before they encounter them in space

I think it's gonna be more about the other aliens and the xenomorph is just going to be a background character.

Octo-eyeball is going to be the star of the show, mark my words.

Currently working my way through Bosch, for years I thought the titular character was played by James Nesbitt, but clearly it isn’t!

Currently on Season 5.

I only started it as it is set prior to Ballard which I’ve watched a couple of episodes, and to allow more episodes to drop so that I can binge that in time.

Overall, Bosch is ok, heavy going at times but it all links together nicely.

My memory is rusty, but didn't "they" sort of know about Aliens before the first film, hence why the ship and Bilbo Baggins had secret orders?
