That's some seriously selective quoting (and incisive commentary). Ever thought of a career at one of the red tops? mangocrazy wrote: Wed Mar 26, 2025 2:25 pm Somebody should be held accountable for this continuing clusterfuck. The wheels are seriously coming off the Red Bull bus, it's only Verstappen that is keeping a semblance of control and order at RB, much as it pains me to say it.

Re: Formula 1.
Indeed, snipped to perfection to cover his 2nd race in a row failure and throwing the toys out of the pram again over the team radio.
If you know you know, basically he's a dick (IMHO) and I found his performance today funny, as did 1000001 other people on twitter etc.
If they're hiring send 'em my way, there are worse ways to earn a living.

Re: Formula 1.
I agree, he is a dick, and a particularly shouty, petulant and annoying one. But at present he is the fastest driver out there, even though I wish it were not so, and he is seriously out-performing the car.
I haven't watched the highlights yet and was only sporadically following the race on BBC updates so don't know the precise events that so amused you. I gather there was some serious rainfall, mixed in with chaotic safety car restarts, and Piastri got a penalty for his part in that?
Glad to see Lando get the win and the championship race closing up. and delighted for the Hulk's first podium.

Re: Formula 1.
I shall not go into details and give spoilers, but it was an action packed, sometimes farcical race, for the only one they'll broadcast to us live for free it didn't disappoint.
Fastest driver? I think that might be stretching it, but it would be interesting to get the top ten drivers in an identical car and let them set their fastest lap on a track which isn't on the calendar

Didn't realise it was free to air; I'd have watched it had I known. Watched highlights and the conditions were pretty intense. I think Max got a hit of red mist after the safety car restart and then things went from bad to worse.

I imagine he was to busy having a rant about Piastri on the radio and lead footed it a smidge too much

Piastri was having a proper sulk in the post race interviews, bottom lip out. The Hulk was his normal cool, unflappable self. Lando was a happy bunny.

I've not seen that before. And now I don't think I'll be able to not see when Max is being interviewed.MrLongbeard wrote: Wed Jul 09, 2025 12:35 pm Just waiting for;
to activate his exit clause and jump ship now
I thought they got rid of Horner in order to keep Max.

Not sure it was
Know of people who work at RB. Horner was dipping his wick.
They were just waiting for the right time

So much for the theory that Rainbow Sparkle could win in any car...He even got lapped by Stroll FFS.
or that Verstappen is the fastest guy out there...

Not watched a race for years, but put start on while I was doing jobs.
Was getting good and Hamilton was having fun.
The new boost rules (???) give some overtaking.
Gonna stick with it and have my dinner

The french commentators were a bit miffed by the last lap - not sure why tho, for the result!! (Wasn't really listening!!)

The safety car was supposed to pull in before last lap to give an exciting finish.Noggin wrote: Sun Jul 05, 2026 4:38 pm The french commentators were a bit miffed by the last lap - not sure why tho, for the result!! (Wasn't really listening!!)
But it stayed out an extra lap so damp squib to race.

Oh I get that it would be more interesting, but I thought they'd be happier at the winner
