No 96 in the first pic below is the crasher in the previous post, this pic was taken 5 mins or so before the crash pic

And me fighting it out on TB in one of the other races with "young un" Kieran, that was a great race with a race-long battle between us

I recognised the rider straight away from back in the day.
I made a comment about something only he would have known about,to which he replied.
Have spent quite a while now reminiscing with him from 40 years ago.

That's nothing. Hailwood used to wear through the outside "corner" of his boots and frequently rode with them duct-taped up to "sort of "protect his toes.
