To be fair to Dazzle, I'm not noticing him blindly accepting old peoples word as fact.
He's pretty good at bursting bubbles with well placed pointy numbers and seems a pretty good egg to me.

You also have to remember I didn't even get a licence until 1 year before cruising and being annoying became outright illegal - because I wasn't old enough.

I'm fully aware that I'm partially responsible for the deceptives at Boxhill no longer being dual carriageway and all the speed cameras between Buxton and Matlock, though having driven across the Cat and Fiddle and down the A6 this year I think the speeds I used to do were stupid, there's a downhill bit of the A6 between Buxton and Bakewell where I had a 1985 GSXR750 hitting the rev limiter in sixth gear, so probably about 155mph, maybe 160.
