Dragged one of the giant beanbags out to a secluded part of the garden to catch some rays. Gremlinette went out to watch the Arsenal game, so i thought I'd get an all-over tan, so ditched the shorts.

Mrs Gremlin comes out to the garden. One thing leads to another....

What a day for the Gremlinette to forget her glasses and have to come back for them. :o

A withering look and the comment, 'I will never be able to use that beanbag again'...

Did she nick your abandoned camo undies? Maybe it was all a clever ruse.

Left Porthleven and came to Polperro for a couple of days. It’s very nice here but like the rest of the southwest it has a flying bandit problem!

Talked to a mate (Dr, specialist) at the RockStore & got more info about why I joined the ranks of the un-dead last weekend than my primary Dr knows.

Yesterday I finished a cross stitch for a mate. She had a baby last month after years of trying and on the final ivf. There’s two hearts in the centre as originally she was carrying twins but lost one very early on, don’t know if it was a girl or a boy so just thought I’d put two linked hearts so that it’s a quiet statement to remember the lost twin

Couldn’t bring myself to post this yesterday immediately after Gremlin’s post 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Needs washing, pressing, stretching then to find a suitable frame! But I’m very happy how it’s turned out 😊😊

And today I’m driving a free Navette from Arcs 1800 to Peisey Vallandry/Rosuel

Arrived at Arc 1800 and the sign in the front of the bus says ROSUEL

First annoying person of the day -

are you going to Arc 1600 ?
No I’m not, I’m going to Rosuel.
When does the bus get here for Arc 1600.
I don’t know, it’s a different company and there should be a timetable inside the bus station.
Ok, but you aren’t going to Arc 1600?
No, I’m (still) not

Gonna be a looooong day!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Ordered a salvage Audi A1 headlight from eBay as some clown drove into the Gremlinette at the weekend, smashed it then sped off. Got most of the marks off the corner of the bumper, but there's some deep scratches and the wheel arch has a crease in it.
She was in the left lane to go straight over the roundabout, Merc comes on the outside and takes the first exit at speed, cutting across her and catching the rear of his car against the offside front of hers. Didn't even stop. Normal for south London.

Anyhow, we played cards and I said that if I won, she had to make dinner, if she won I'd pay for the replacement headlight. I may have thrown the game. ;)

Leave the scratches in there as warning flags for others.

You never woulda thunk it, but they are actually under threat.

I blame the selfish bastards who jealously guard their chips.

How do you know you're in a really bad, run down place?

We don't see many of them in the Mojave Desert, unless there's some strange weather that blew them 70 miles inland. I see more parrots, loud green fuckers all over the place... also ravens & vultures

I think I have lost a friend !! (probably not, but I think she's a bit horrified at me !! )

I messaged her on Monday to see if she wanted to go see a rockabilly band that evening and she said "right now I might be persuaded to go see Green Day but I'm not going out for anything else! "

I forgot to reply until today so said I was sorry about not replying but I had no idea who Green Day is or why she'd force herself out to see them. Finishing with - but I haven't listened radio for years and tend to pick what I like to listen to now so don't explore much !!

She said, blimey, they formed in '87 so you really haven't listened to the radio for years !! Lots of laughter between us so then I drove up to home listening to Green Day on Spotify

Unimpressed - who are they ? They sound like so many 90's bands I avoided (not the worst of the "the music is ok but the vocals make me want to slit my wrists" but not my thing at all!)

She also told me to listen to Basket Case - I thought it was a band     Apparently it's a song by Green Day - another 90's sounding thing !! I just said, musics ok, not keen on the vocals - not joining you at a gig/concert !!!

She hasn't replied, so I think she has disowned me !! (I wasn't quite as harsh by text as I have been here !!)

I know - you lot will probably disown me too
