But, apart from that.

Re: Time for a change
Take my money!
Incidentally, I threw my leg over both the Suzuki GSX1000GT and the Kawa 1100SX yesterday. Both felt quite similar, with a more nosey riding position but still pretty upright. Do prefer the Tracer in that regard, but do like the more sportbike looks of both of them.

Re: Time for a change
It's not out yet, they're still selling the old 1290 (they are here anyway). The 1390 GT was supposed to be a 2025 bike but was never made, it might be available for 2026.
The 990 Duke R is another one. KTM did all the press releases and videos, one was even raced in the US, but the bike never appeared.
Can you tell I've been looking at KTM's.

Gsxs1000gx would give plenty of reward and the bmw xr. Pick the bike you like the look of best and personal comfort. They all go well enough.

Nope, ceramic ice as they call it. Although I'd have preferred actual gloss paint but it seems that's becoming less of a thing these days.

I almost went to have a look at a Ducati Supersport 950 S, then after reading the reviews on doing touring I was put off. That certainly would have been a bike I always looked back at when I got off it.

I'm sure you'll get a smile once you're out on it.

You've bought the wrong bike then.tricol wrote: Tue Aug 26, 2025 2:44 pm New bike arrives tomorrow. Feeling very flat about the whole thing, maybe I'll get the excitement up tomorrow.

Try and get a night or two away on the bike, best way to gel I reckon. Enjoy.
