Did it eat it?
Luckily no!
However it drew it in tight enough to the airbox feed to require the use of pliers to unplug it!
May have to spend some actual money on it!

Surprised you could find a kitchen sponge that is, I'm impressed. Was it one of those overpriced ones from Lakeland?

Over the years, hundreds maybe thousands of tourists have said hi to him as they pass through here in the Square.
Folk came to see him year after year.
He was a real celebrity. FB went berserk when he went

4 tourists couples asked tonight where he was.
It's not so painful now. Actually quite pleasing that folk are asking about him as he touched a lot of lives.
It's been 10 days here. I keep thinking he's in another part of house & will appear at any moment or looking around & noticing he's not laying on my bed etc. He was running around like a pup with no cares in the world the day before he passed... but he did have heart issues.

I've been to Plitvice lakes.

They're a series of maybe a dozen small lakes that feed into each other by waterfalls, it's very scenic.

Took the Ducati to ProTwins to get the back brake sorted after I couldn’t. I needed the support of the wife to get back - so we detoured for an Eastbourne visit.

Dear me - last time I went was 3 years ago - and it was a bit run down. But Palanga in Lithuania now make Eastbourne look vibrant.
Came back throughly depressed !

Spectacular. It verges on not looking real.

Went in to the lab for the last time, 26 years and the site is shut :( we will see what the future brings.
Also meant between the 5 of us we loaded up 3 skips and 2 40' containers with test equipment, records, and office furniture, I am bolloxed and glad I'm not in tomorrow when the bigger and more delicate bits of kit are being loaded up.

Hung some monkeys and in a similar vein to The Rolling Stones, painted a wall black.

Decided that I was too knackered to use my afternoon off to carry on sorting stuff out in my new place !! So I'm chilling on the sofa !!

Slight downside is that the guys that finished the terrace last week/this week are here 'tidying up' - haven't looked out to see what they are doing (don't want to risk catching their eye and having to do conversation !!! ) but there's a load machine going :( :( :(

I'm still employed by them, but I have doubts over how it's going to work.
But that's their problem, I'll do as asked as long as they keep paying me.

Driven through some v nice countryside to arrive in an area that is, basically, 'army'. All the 'Shots' - Bagshot, Aldershot etc + Deepcut, Sandhurst, Pirbright and Bisley...not to mention the tank armour town, Chobham.

Need a uniform and a firearm! (Or a tank? :D ).
The plural of 'anecdote' is not 'data'.
