Well there you go. I had those in mind as USA models only, where maybe emissions aren't as strict.
They'll get shit fuel mileage either way, compared to that 900/3.

I've been very pleasantly surprised by how economical my GSXS 1000 is, I get 50 mpg pretty much all the time other than when thrashing it amd even then it doesnt drop really low. Track riding would be a different kettle of fish. No idea how they make it so economical with a 148bhp IL4, but not complaining.

My 200 BHP monster gives high 50s mpg taking it easy. And mid 40s being enthusiastic.

I've not been following the WSS this year, but I've just read that the R9 has won the manufacturers championship for Yamaha. I've just perused some results and it looks like the R9 is pretty much cleaning up with Manzi and Oncu.
