Which battery drill / driver / yada yada - this might help
Ryobi must be feeling stressed about sales ...
Currently:
- BOGOF deal on bare* tools
- Buy a 4Ah battery, choose a free tool (from 20+ options)
And sign up to their mailing list for a first order discount code.
* No battery. I had to ask a while ago, so others might not know

I just found out SDS battery drills exist, I bought one the other day as a happy accident so now I just need the chuck adapter to turn up.

This could easily turn into a tyre/oil type thread...

They do sales like that regularly. TBH though, I can see why - once you've got the kits you want, it's quite easy to just not buy anything again for quite a while because they "just work", especially once you've get enough batteries to cover your regular usage needs: we ended up with quite a few because one or two of the tools we have are pretty thirsty; but now I can't see us getting another battery for years (I guess until the oldest ones give up the ghost).Horse wrote: Wed Oct 08, 2025 10:08 am Ryobi must be feeling stressed about sales ...

Whether to grease the SDS chuck will suffice.

Just a dab on the drill bit every once in a while for me.
