It turned out a lovely day. Loads of bikes of all shapes and sizes down at the seafront.
I spotted a nice pink EXUP for KFB.

Loads of bikes out yesterday and I was gagging to be out but took my son and his mate to Duxford being a nice dad rather than a bad ass biker! Was a bit salt in the wounds though as drove passed the Silver Bull on the A10 which was pretty packed with bikes and there was about 8-10 bikes parked at Duxford as well. Oh well. Hopefully next weekend!
Got the wife out on the bike yesterday for the first time this year. First time on the GS as well. She’s had a growth on her thyroid that meant she couldn’t get the helmet on comfortably but got that removed a few weeks ago.
She loves going pillion and it’s really been getting to her so I’m glad we’ve been able to get out.

Do you mean Silver Bell ?
My brother and his GF go to the bike meets there quite often.
And there was me thinking the big SILVER BALL hanging outside had something to do with the name.
I stand corrected, yes it's the Silver Bell. As I said I've never been in despite having lived in Hertford for 20 years now, only driven/ridden passed. It's too close to home to make sense stopping either on the way out or in. A mate years ago called it the Silver Bull and that's what I thought it was, I probably misheard. Usually when I go passed I'm looking at the bikes so never noticed the ball.

The pair of you, there's a fucking big silver ball hanging outside. Not a bull or bell, a ball. It's been called the Silver Ball Cafe for the 45 years I've been going there.

If it makes a difference, I stand doubly corrected. I subconsciously went with Eclipse's line despite just googling it.
Although if it annoys you that much I might keep getting it wrong for fun
One of those days that looks overcast and dry,but when you actually go out,you have that fine grizzly mizzle for company. Whos says a photo never lies?
Oh well,can't win them all.

I had a 9am appointment in Alicante followed by dropping the bike off for it's first service. Winter jacket with the liner removed and autumn gloves were perfect for the ride in, I was sweating on the way home though. The forecast 22º turned into 27º.

Yup, same here last few days. Pavement dry but step out and a fine misting in the air with the odd spit of rain
