BSB 2026- Who's going where?

Post by Tricky »

Lots of bike and seat changes for next season it seems- aside from the already announced stuff, the (not all 100% substantiated yet so a fair bit of it could be bollocks ) rumours I hear are:
  • O'Hallaran is back on the official HRC Fireblade alongside Vickers
  • Bridewell to the new Superbike Advocates team on a 2026 Panigale
  • Iddon and Talbot to Sencat on R1s
  • Cook staying with FS3 on the new Bimota, alongside one other (Talbot or Storm)
  • Cheshire moldings switching to Yams, with Danny Kent joining Rory there
  • Spud to TAG Honda alongside Fraser
  • PBM reportedly will be running a two-bike team next season on the new 2026 bikes, the big question is who will be Scotty's teammate.... (I've told Frank & Jordan what it would take to secure my services, so we shall see :D ;) )

Anyone have anything else?

Oh, and the other potentially interesting rumour I forgot to mention above, is around the new (relative term :) ) Gixxer1000- apparently one or two teams may be having a crack on it in the big class....

BSB has a reasonable balance of experienced journeymen and younger riders, which makes for a healthy championship.

I wonder if Ryan Vickers can stop crashing and still be fast? He'll be up there,if he can.

Tommy Bridewell should be more at home on the Ducati, than the fickle Honda.

You'd imagine the R1 would be more competitive than the long in the tooth ZX10R,so we'll maybe see more of Iddon.

The Bimota has been performing better than I thought in WSBK and is a season developed now.

Danny Kent and Rory Skinner sounds a strong team and they'll be wanting to beat each other for sure.

I'm not sure about Charlie Nesbitt and Fraser Rodgers chances on the Fireblade.

I'd heard the PBM team had money troubles, the same source told me the BSB organisers were paying Redding's wages for the sake of the show. When they offed Glenn Irwin the said they couldn't afford to run a second bike.

Agree with you on all the above, and hmmm, interesting RE PBM- apparantley at Brands Jordan Bird was openly telling people that they'd ordered 2 x 2026 bikes so will be interesting to see what transpires.
