I always had a bit of a fascination with the Bathurst closed roads circuit and have recently found a number of videos of races at the track (!) in the early 80s.
The first is an on-bike camera lap - the sound quality is awful but this was cutting edge technology at the time.

Nice, the commentary sound quality was bad, but that's exactly what a race air cooled 1100 sounds like when you're riding one.
