Only to St Evenage to meet the Mrs for lunch, but by heck that felt good. Not a great set of roads and only 30 miles but enough to feel alive. Not ridden in just over a month!

Pulling onto the A414 in 2nd was like - Fuckinbloodyhowquick! 8-)

If the weather plays ball I'm hoping to get out Sat and Sun (please please please)

Nipped out for new tyres and chain set, actually nice weather, even warm for time of year, made the most of the bike time and autumn colours.

No pic's but took the mucky lanes to JnS Northwich. Quite a few bikes out, loads of those Africa twins. Nice cuppa and the straight way home to catch 2nd half.

Potholes around Whitchurch bypass are an absolute disgrace. Reckon a biker would be off on a particular one. Think an email will be sent. 👍

I went out for a wee little jaunt to Frejus today, I wanted to see what they'd give me for my duke against their SMCR

Image[/img]
Suffice to say, 800 euro wasn't enough to make me do the deal!

Interestingly they put the bike details into an app and waited for offers. As opposed to pricing it for themselves !?

Never mind, I had an AWESOME burnup with a fast Caterham 7 on the way home :banana-dance:

I thought I recognised that second pic! That's one of the places I stop when I'm out training on those roads.

Lovely autumn colour.

Had planned on getting out on Saturday but the weather didn't play ball. This morning was nice for a few hours so headed out for a local spin. Not many more days like this left until Spring.

Didn't get out Saturday as in the morning the roads were very wet and by the time they dried out I was doing other stuff :(

I did get out Sunday though for about 80 odd miles and a very nice ride it was indeed 8-) The roads were a bit scutty in places but good enough to have a blast out of the cobwebs and liven the senses. There were loads of bikes out and about all with the same idea. Very unseasonal but let's hope it holds out for a little longer.

Wasn't going to stop, but needed a wee and knew once I stopped I'd feel the chill so headed for Finchingfield about half way round. Pretty sure this might be the McClaren 720S I had a burn up with the other month, very bloody fast and nice car. Wouldn't wanna get many stone chips in that bonnet!

In the tea room on the otherside of the road were a couple of old fellas from the other end of the car scale enjoying the pleasant autumn weather 8-)

My Grandad learnt to drive in one of them and it's great to see these old things still be used.

Suddenly realised I needed to get a shift on to get back to pick my son up from his remembrance parades, his Sqn has 2 bless em, Hertford and Ware, and I'd dropped him off at 8.50 and needed to pick him up at 4pm. I don't often ride anymore with a place and time I need to hit and being a bit late. So, the ride back was purposeful shall we say, and as I don't do it very often it felt a bit like the old days where I didn't have a car and often left things late and progress was more important than enjoying the ride so to speak. And it was very enjoyable indeed as it turns out, all focus on momentum and planning to maintain it. Even better it was on of those rides you just feel at one with the bike with everything gelling for brakes, gears, acceleration, flowing lines. Bloody fab it was. Fab enough that when I got home, just in time, to then find out he finished a little early and the Mrs was getting him, I didn't much care. Went back to the garage to lock up and gave the bike a pat as the hot engine/exhaust tinkled away with cooling. What a bloody bike. How lucky are we to get to ride these things that make us feel like they've no right to make us feel.

I don't think I've got an Instagram sort of mind so I struggle to find places to stop, rather than just stop anywhere for a pic to get them likes.

Was gonna go to the coast on Saturday but the weather didn't look good. The sun came out at lunchtime so I just thought I'd do a quick circuit my Windsor loop.

Got out for an hour or so on the new scoot, as I tipped over 300 miles 1/2 way round i could rev another 1k, which now puts it right in the max torque range of the motor, now it's only 300cc so it's hardly gonna rip your arms off, but the difference that extra 1k revs makes is brilliant. Even managed a little wheelie of a hump backed bridge :D . I only went out to get miles on the engine and hopefully get run in (600 miles) before regular use next year but it's been a long time since I've had fun on the roads especially in November.

I rode someone else's motorbike around Nepal. I have returned, undamaged - from the motorbike at least.
The first morning slip one wet clay tiles and landing on my coccyx meant the rest of the week was done on heavy pain killers!
But it was worth it!

Southern trains were arseholes - cancelling all the trains on the friday I was dues to leave, then having heavy delays on the trains today due to "points issues" (as it was the friday I left). 12 hr stop over in Dubai as the connection of 1hr 45 mins was not enough when the plane from Kathmandu took off 1hr 15 late

Cool Autumnal pic man. 8-)

I'm done with hosting sites,I keep the pics on a drive now and just upload them from there. Sometimes I fall victim of the file size, but not often.

I'm thinking of doing the same.Twenty plus years ago I used to scan slides/Negs & store them on CD's,at least this time I won't have to do any scanning.
