That's loads neater, and you don't have to take your hands off the bars to adjust.
I fitted a similar (i.e. control is part of the LH grip) but chinese noname/much cheaper and lower quality set to the old orange bike a week or so back to replace the worn out R&Gs, and based on the ride earlier this week in sub 5 degree temps, they are just the job- plenty hot enough, 3 or 4 heat settings, and didn't drain the battery- always a consideration on the enduro bikes as they have relatively pissy little generators, or at least my old girl does, anyway.
They do look cheap, so I don't think I'd put them on anything other than the old off-roader, and how long they will last we shall see, but at £21 delivered they were worth a punt, and so far, so good, I'm pleased with them
