After 6 GSAs I went for a change in March and got a r1250r. I’ve done 900 miles on it since then which is not like me. I think after almost 20 years on GSAs I’ve got soft with regards to weather protection so it’s getting swapped before March 31st. I’ll struggle to justify another GSA due to the crazy prices so am seriously looking at an Africa twin. See what happens in the next few weeks.

Working on getting my bitsa Morini project together (paid for from funds after my dad's old Brough gets sold) but that will almost certainly take the whole year. Then I'll sell the spare one...
If I didn't already have a CBF1000 I'd be well up for getting my leg over the new CB1000GT & if the Morini scrambler fails in anyway an R12GS would be on the cards.

Need to finish the bmw project and get it sold, a bathroom disaster has loomed and money is needed. Hopefully I can get the speed triple back on the road this year.

I’ll be sleeping in the shed with my bike if I suggest changing it again.

I bought my last ever bike 5 years ago and I’m on my 4th change since then.

At 72 there might be one more change to a lighter bike if my OH stops going pillion or I might just give up altogether.

No planned changes to the bikes but the shed needs a clear out and reorganization. The Triumph needs a service and an MOT this year as sitting idle is no good for it, the carbs are likely to need another clean.

The 411 we'll be put back to commuter service when the weather allows.

I'm hoping the main change this year is to the riders ability off road and an increase in miles ridden

This is the time of year to bite that particular bullet. Once the weather picks up,you'll just want to ride.

I think the AT will have to go at some point, but it'll be a very reluctant parting. The trouble is, it's set the bar very high and i cant think of any bike that would excite me enough to want it over the AT as the At really is the bike i've been searching for for years! I expect its replacement would be based on practical reasons, so probably a NC750X as its more manageable if not that much lighter?

It's been 6 1/2 years, if I don't change now it'll be with me until it's written off like the bike before which I hung on to for 13 years.
I've few ideas, an iron in a fire here and there, we'll have to see how things play out before I pull the trigger.

Nah, really not keen on Indians, except maybe the FTR1200, their bobbers, cruisers and baggers leave me cold man

I'd love a second bike, but don't have the space.

Seems daft to change if it's so good ?

I've just seen an MT-10 on Friendface Marketplace that was a lot cheaper than I expected. MT-10, hmmm.

Sorry to hear that. If the problems get worse, you won't be able to spank me on track anymore 😞

The Burgy 650 has got to go. Had it new from 2013, and it's done me proud through all weathers, but at 73, I'm finding the weight of it a bit much, so I've decided to trade it in for a Honda Forsa 350.

Can't be without a scooter in my little fleet, as they are so practical for those of us who don't have/want a car.

It will probably happen this month. I've already had a chat to the chaps at Dobles.

A friend here has one, a very nice bike. Terrible for a pillion but that's not really why you buy them.
