Re: Online competitions for cars, bikes and tech goodies.
For many people, the Yamaha FS1E was the bike “back in the day”..
It represented the first taste of freedom, independence, and life on two wheels. Our 1989 Yamaha FS1E is particularly special as it comes from the very end of the model’s UK production run.
By the late 1980s, the FS1E was already becoming a rarity. Changing learner laws and emissions regulations meant Yamaha’s 50cc two-stroke engine was coming to the end of its time on the road, making late-registered bikes like this one increasingly hard to find today. Finished in the correct late-model blue and white Yamaha livery, this is a genuine UK-market FS1E.
It has Yamaha’s air-cooled 49cc two-stroke single-cylinder engine. The engine carries the correct 8F0 prefix, confirming it as a late-production FS1E motor, and it sits in an original Yamaha frame with authentic factory stampings.
Our FS1E has also benefited from documented engine work, including new bearings and a rebore with piston replacement. It has also been fitted with a period Micron aftermarket exhaust. Micron systems were a popular upgrade back in the day, so this is a nice nostalgic touch.
Very late FS1E

Highly nostalgic

The one above was the useless ones as they were teh restricted to 30mph versions. Easily identified as the had no pedals. As that has a spanny on it may well have been derestricted though?Dodgy69 wrote: Fri Jan 30, 2026 5:56 pm My first bike was a yellow fizzy, had to use to 2t oil pump thing at the garage on fill ups. 20 : 1 or summot like. Re: Online competitions for cars, bikes and tech goodies.
I used to pedal mine now and again, very very low geared. Crashed on a country road sharp left hander, bent the forks and I went over the hedge and ended up in a farmers field. I still pedal past the very spot regularly, good days indeed.

Pure Porsche performance. Open-top driving. Timeless sports car pedigree.
This isn’t just a convertible — it’s a proper driver’s Porsche.
The Porsche Boxster S 3.2 represents everything enthusiasts love about the brand: a naturally aspirated flat-six, mid-engine balance, razor-sharp handling, and that unmistakable Porsche soundtrack. Built during a golden era, the 3.2 S is widely regarded as one of the sweetest-driving Boxsters ever made.
As modern cars become heavier and more digital, clean examples of these analogue Porsches are becoming harder to find — and values are starting to reflect that. Roof down, flat-six singing behind you, this is sports car ownership done properly.
