It was the US based ZRXOA forum, the UK one was ZRXOC. At least other posters would say "here's my gf/spouse/wife" etc. His post was just her with nothing to say who she was.Felix wrote: Fri Jan 30, 2026 7:11 pm I think i remember that forum. Was it a Sub forum from the old Kawazaki one that had a UK and USA site?
There was actually very little political stuff in the bloodbath forum, it was mostly very dark & mildly disturbing humor.

In the 80's we had Eazyrider bike magazine from America. That had an interesting readers wife section. Its all watered down now as the delicate people get upset easily. I am sure Back Street Heroes was a tad naughty as well but more a Sun page 3 kind of Naughty.KungFooBob wrote: Fri Jan 30, 2026 7:13 pm I hope no one gives ZRX access to the secret "Readers' Wives" sub form.

Wasn't it BSH that had the lonely hearts section too? That was a target rich environment.Felix wrote: Fri Jan 30, 2026 7:23 pm In the 80's we had Eazyrider bike magazine from America. Never ventured into the USA one. I presumed it was just as shit as the UK one. Admin would pull your post at the slightest thing. Even if we were having a conversation and i said "Dont be daft" it would get pulled.ZRX61 wrote: Fri Jan 30, 2026 7:23 pmIt was the US based ZRXOA forum, the UK one was ZRXOC. Now there was a mag i never once bough. Performance bike was my monthly bit it changed in the 90's and was kind of shite but RIDE came out and i quite liked the format and the product testing was interesting also. Never buy anything now as you can always find what you need online.

Re: Politics forum stay or go ?
Someone put an ad in there for a mates missus that kinda hinted she might be up for a good time for a few quid. I had no idea about it & I called him up one evening about some bike parts. Before I could say a single word he exploded into a ballistic rant about people calling up to bang his missus from the second he got the phone in his hand.Felix wrote: Fri Jan 30, 2026 7:32 pm Yes. I am sure one from TRC went on to become the Editor and another lass a photographer for BSH.
I was completely bewildered WTF was going on, thought I had the wrong number for a moment & said "er, it's Rick" when there was a brief pause for him to inhale & I got "oh, sorry about that mate". He then explained the cause of his distress. Apparently it had been going on for a couple of months
AFAIK he never did find out who did it.
and NO, it wasn't me.

It was quite a while before he stopped getting the Clint Eastwood eye twitch any time someone mentioned his missus.
He'd walk into the pub & get... "where's missus tonight? I've got a few quid spare
