I like the scrambler style and like many other brands , way too heavy for off road but that ain't the point, they look good.

I'll readily admit I suffer from an aversion to this current trend of faux dirt bike style,the GS abortions in particular. However,this one doesn't offend my peepers quite so much,it's a reasonable attempt to de-fuglify the thing. I suppose that's the nearest I'll ever give to a compliment on the topic.

It's baffled me how those BMW GS's are so popular,Fugly behemoths,as you say this one's a decent attempt at de-fuglifying one.

Ha! That 'not looking at it while you're riding it' schtick never washed with me. I like to admire a bike. I have ridden a GS and couldn't wait to get off,I absolutely hated it.

Fueled up and ready to go was just shy of 250kgs IIRC. That makes Rahier even more god like considering he was 5'4" tall. The bike's handlebars were about the same height as his nipples.

The official BMW HP2 Enduro makes that look fat. Probably cost more to build than you can buy and HP2 for... if you can find one.

To be fair - what's making the bikes in the original post look fat as hell is the stupid large tank/bodywork, and the enourmous crashbars.

Put a simpler tank on it, remove the crashbars, and the lardy look is gone
