Anyone owned a Honda ADV 350 scooter?

I'm finding my 650 Burgy a bit of a lump to push around, so I'm thinking of down sizing. I was in Dobles (Coulsdon), buying a new helmet, and the ADV 350 caught my eye.
The salesman pulled it out so that I could sit on it, and it felt quite comfy, and very MUCH lighter than my Burgy. Around 200lbs lighter when I compared weights on the internerd.
Anyone had one of these? What did you think of it?
My thinking is, it's a Honda, so should be reliable.

I have the x-adv 750 version. It's bloody brilliant.

My lad briefly had the adv 350 when I had my Yamaha x-max 300. I rode it a couple of times, it was very different to my yamaha but I really enjoyed it. He gave up the two wheels thing shortly after getting it so didn't ride it much.

When I got my xmax 300, i was wanting the adv350 but at the time I couldn't get one so went for the yamaha as it was quicker delivery.

I then bought my x-adv on the basis of riding his adv350 but wanting something with a bit more go. As for the 300/ 350 thing, it'll depend on what you want it for? They'll do 90 odd mph, but they're a bit of a challenge after 65mph'ish. Anything lower than that, they're great fun. If it's town stuff that size engine is brilliant.

You may find yourself a bit more perched on top of it than the Burgman, but you'll soon get used to it. Not sure if they've changed the design to mirror the new xadv 750 style?

I've had mine since last September. So far very good but I'm not really a bad weather rider so mileage limited and only just run-in. I have fitted after-market adjustable levers and EBC sintered front pads, mostly to compensate for my age-weakened hands. Also got some wind deflectors via AliExpress which were far cheaper than Honda's equivalent. They reduce the draught which is noticeable at knee level at 40-50 mph. Only real gripe is the lack of information about removing bodywork, lets hope I don't need to! Honda don't seem to have published a workshop manual and dealers say they rely on their on-line subscription which doesn't seem to allow public access.

Having looked in more detail on the internerd and youtube, I'm now leaning more to the 350 Forza.
One of the main reasons is because the forza has a larger screen, and it's electrically adjustable, just like my Burgy. As I'll be riding it in virtually all weathers, a larger screen is something that I have got used to, and being able to adjust the height 'on-the-fly', is something that I've found very, very handy over the years. Especially at night.
The ADV looks nicer, IMO, and has a few features I like, but the larger adjustable screen on the Forza, is, for me, a deciding factor.

It's a shame honda don't use the same system as on my xadv, it's a single handed screen operation which can be easily done on the ride.

Is the suspension on the Forza 350 and XAdv 350 the same? I know the XAdv 750 is supposed to have very good suspension, but I don't know about the 350.

No, the suspension components on the Honda ADV350 are different from those on the larger X-ADV. The X-ADV has more robust, motorcycle-style suspension with longer travel, designed for greater off-road capability.
Key differences in the suspension are:

The adv350 is much more budget than the xadv, as is reflected in the quite substantial price difference.

As the quote from above, the suspension is actually the same as the Forza 350. It's still a great scooter to ride. The Forza or the ADV350 are both really good in their own right.

I've been watching a fair number of Forza 350 reviews as well as the XMAX 300 as quite fancy one. Both get mentioned as having very budget suspension, but then they are cheap commuter scooters.

My XMax 300 was brilliant, I loved it, so much fun to ride. I only upgraded as I was going to buy a new big bike, then came across the new 2025 xadv, tried one for size and that was it.

You wouldn't go far wrong with either the xmax or forza tbh.

I bumped into a bloke today, who rushed out to speak with me about my xadv, he'd ridden an adv350 all the way from S Wales to Spain and back and the 350 was really easy to ride and was faultless for the whole trip.

It's a joy to ride, it's a hell of a lot lighter than the 650 Burgy, (obviously), so I can push it about on the drive/into the garage with much ease.
The suspension is softer than the Burgs, which on the poxy roads in this country, is no bad thing.
I've lost a little bit of storage compared to what I've been used to, but there's enough for my needs.
The only thing is, due to the shite weather we seem to keep having, I've got huge amounts of Surrey & Sussex splattered all over it, but at least it keeps it off of me.

Enjoy, I thoroughly enjoyed my BMW C400GT and then my XMax 300 techmax, in fact whilst I've now got my XADV 750 it's far more like a motorbike and I do miss the low power scooter thing.

I'm really hoping to get loads more miles in this year, if I don't then the XADV will go and I'll probably not bother replacing it and go without two wheels.
