All lines switched off through Redhill for a troubled lady wandering about the tracks.
"Of all the stories you told me, which ones were true and which ones weren't?"
"My dear Doctor, they're all true."
"Even the lies?"
"Especially the lies."

Get yourself ready, sit on the bike, and if you really don't fancy it get off and do something else.

90 mins done and calling it there. Wasn't as nice as riding outside but wasn't terrible.

Just back from a short ride. The rain held off but there were small rivers running off the fields. Bicycle cleaning time :angry-cussingblack:

Back indoors from a cold garage. Been fettling the bike.

This morning I was out visiting a family whose wife/mum/grandmum passed early this morning. Just went to spend time with them in grief and to comfort them. Had a quiet gentle Eucharist with them and left them somewhat more at peace. Visited other people and carried on with the day.

Glad I had the bike to tinker on and get my mind into a different place. Now I need to prepare for tomorrow's quiet Lent Morning of 3 hours, with a reflection, Stations of the Cross and a Eucharist.

Enjoying a coffee and a celebratory sandwich* after the Dadmobile passed its MOT. Another 12 months of carting muddy dogs and children about awaits me.

* ham, cheese and chutney on wholemeal bread.

Just back from the Medway Hospital. Took the bike, heavy mist/fog a lot of the way there and back. Glad it was bike and not car, parking was again an issue for cars. Check meant lots of blood test vials, and I've been booked in for a full spinal MRI to check injuries and wear and tear. I'm now 1.955m tall, so I've lost 1/2 centimetre in height after gaining my full height. Still a "fat" man according to their BMI indicator, but it is stretched over a long frame. Home for lunch. Taking car for MOT at 3.30pm, will have it cleaned before hand, inside and out. I prefer to take a clean car for such things.
