Re: interesting bikes found randomly..
I'm pretty certain that unless there was substantail amounts of cash involved, Ago wouldn't be fronting up at a road circuit in Ireland. I notice that he also mentioned safety quite a lot, as that was the issue that led him to boycott the TT after Gilberto Parlotti's death in 1972 at the TT.
But the sound of the MV is peerless. I have the Stanley Schofield sound recordings of the 1960s TT races, and the MV-3 features heavily in there. The one I remember most was recorded in the dip at Union Mills and captured the sound of the MV going through the corner and then accellerating through the gears at full chat on the rise towards the Glen Lough campsite. That section of road has dry stone walls and these acted as an amplifier for the sound and caused it to swell like a church organ. At some points, the further away Ago got, the sound actually increased in volume. Along with the Honda-six, the Mv-3 is probably the most evocative in motorcycle racing of any era.

That's nice enough looking but let down by the crappy little red reflector. I know it's an MOT thing but there are prettier ways of doing it, Symmetry would be a start

I've never seen one before, two on German plates parked outside a local bar.
