What purchases are you pondering..

Post by weeksy »

You know, the things you sit there for a while on your Ebay/whatever list, sitting in your favourites but can't quite bring yourself to buy...

Image

I've got this which is pretty much what i already own, but in carbon instead.... Just needs to be the right money and it may get bought.. OR i may remove from my list before it ends...

My other one was a JAckery which we've planned on buying/not-buying for the last God knows how long. But that got bought.

I keep looking at Osprey messenger bags, my leather briefcase (which I carry my laptop in) is getting on a bit now and the messenger bags are similar in style, but just a bit cooler.

I've still not pressed the button on a Bee Line 2 (I'm hoping the wife has got the hint and buys one for my birthday).

A bike park bike, for uplift days, something like a Rocky Mountain Slayer, keep looking on eBay and Buynsell but can’t quite bring myself to pull the pin.

The red Slayer down the road from you on Ebay for £1495 is absolutely perfect for you. 445mm reach, Carbon A70 model with Ohlins and a Vyron dropper... Makes perfect sense.

Right now, a Lanarte cross stitch kit! Mostly cos I can't go home to find the half finished grey cat on black background and my friends haven't seen it (I know it's there, it's just not where I thought it was!). Need to get back into cross stitch or crochet to stop myself doom-scrolling the internet!!!

But the Lanarte is a bit expensive and I have a choice of three that I like, soooooo - they'll sit on the Amazon list for a bit longer I guess!!!

If anyone wants to choose for me, that'd be aces!!

(EDIT : I have a few lego in mind too - just not sure I want to make space for them when I eventually get home!!!)

I keep thinking about a new car. Just had mine serviced and MoT'd and am back to thinking, '36k miles? Might as well hang on for another year and see what happens to the market'. :D

Also, will probably get one of those mini-PCs as discussed on the other thread - and stick Libre Office on it. If it doesn't turn out to be what I need I'll probably plug it in the back of the TV as a media/streaming unit.

A bigger aquarium tank.
The current one is tidy enough, 110ltr, good filtering and very budget lights, gravel on the bottom, lots of very unsuitable plants for our water that are struggling for nutrients, but it's balanced, fish are happy, water tests are always good and algae is minimal.

And so a bigger tank with proper substrate, much better lighting, co2 injection and plants that are suitable for our rock hard water.
It's a good chunk of cash to set up and I'm sure that getting to the point where the tank is balanced and living happily is going to be a pain in the arse.

Same, I've got about 10 different saved searches on Autotrader that I keep browsing.

I have the I wants for another convertible, but want to stay with leccy cars. This is the only option at the moment and I do like them, but don't think I can take the depreciation! So its unlikely ill go for it, until the purchase price starts with a 2...

And a medical kit including a needle extraction set.

Do NOT buy the one with wheels or hooves. You will break something else!

For some reason I keep looking at adverts for TRX850's,I almost bought one 13 years back but it was the wrong colour & I'd just moved house so money was tight.I also keep looking at 650 Transalp adverts,I was going to buy one 4 years ago but bought a SV650 instead.
It doesn't really make any sense as I've decided no more bikes are being bought before some of the current ones get sold, also these days with modern fuels I prefer FI bikes, but I still keep looking :wtf:

You guys really don't have ot do that. I mean, I won't say no, but you are always so kind

The watering can is a smidge under 37€ on amazon but I'm not sure I have paypal :? I do have revolut if that's any good?

amazon.fr/-/en/gp/product/B001O1BFGM/ref=ox_sc_act_title_4?smid=A1X6FK5RDHNB96&psc=1

But honestly, it is a lovely thought and gesture - and if you are serious, I'll see if I can find out if I have a current paypal
