Am I the only one not interested this? They did something more complicated over 50 years ago, What's new?
Or is this big news because it's the first real trip to the moon?

The Tom Hanks trip was way more interesting. Just compare the computer technology of this mission to that of prior lunar trips. The 2026 version doesn't need people, they're passengers.Mussels wrote: Tue Apr 07, 2026 9:07 am Am I the only one not interested this? Have you seen the explanatory video of how the Houston screens worked? Phenomenal stuff, long before massive digital LED screens etc.Buckaroo wrote: Tue Apr 07, 2026 9:53 amThe Tom Hanks trip was way more interesting. The multi-million$ toilets (which suffered frozen urine*) are a step on from peeing in a bag.Mussels wrote: Tue Apr 07, 2026 9:07 am Am I the only one not interested this? They did something more complicated over 50 years ago, What's new?

Shame they didn’t they fly over the location of the moon landing and take photos to dispel the “they never landed on the moon” conspiracy theorists!Mussels wrote: Tue Apr 07, 2026 9:07 am Am I the only one not interested this? They did something more complicated over 50 years ago, What's new?
